The High and Mighty Colors of Asterysk*


Asterysk* is a Jrock inspired band with members hailing from Pasig, Pasay, Cainta, Bulacan, Laguna and Cavite. Since each member brings its own musical preference to the table, the resulting sound is a unique blend of pop vocal stylings, solid hard rock basslines and progressive rock guitar work.

The name Asterysk* was derived from the glyph that bears a similar name. To make it truly representative of the band, vocalist Jazz Rosin thought of creating a six-armed asterisk, one for each member of the band. Just like the convergence of the symbol's arms to a singular point, each band member contributes his and her own musical influence to produce a unique blend of progressive pop-rock sound that has come to define the band's core genre.
